SAFETY


 
  • We installed Hospital-grade Air Purification system in all Silver locations. This system includes:

    • Ultraviolet light in the air conditioners to disinfect air moving through Silver

    • Air purifiers through the dining room

    We also have implemented the following safety and cleaning protocols:

    • Disinfecting and Sanitizing all high touch surfaces after each use

    • Sanitizing menus after each use.

    • Requiring all Staff to wear masks

    • Requiring all Guests to wear a mask when entering our building, per local guidelines

    • Requiring all Guests to show proof of vaccination, per local guidelines (DC only)

    • Requiring Daily Wellness Checks of all Staff

 

AIR PURIFICATION SYSTEM

  • Hospitals and medical facilities have been using Ultraviolet light to disinfect operating rooms for years because it kills viruses like COVID. Our system treats the air.

    • Ultraviolet light system treats all air going through the air conditioning system 24/7

    • Air purifier treats air throughout the day as it enters the building

  • Ultraviolet light kills 99.9% of the pathogens it encounters. While we cannot say that it is 100% effective, it is a hospital grade treatment and extremely effective.

  • UV-C lighting is harmful when people are directly exposed over a long period of time. Our lighting is installed so that people will not be exposed to it. It is installed inside the HVAC system and air purifiers.

  • The air purification units are installed in multiple locations inside both front and back of house, depending on the store.

  • No. All existing safety and cleanliness standards and procedures stay in place. The new systems are being installed in to make existing procedures even more effective.

 

DAILY WELLNESS CHECKS

  • As recommended by the CDC we are conducting temperature screenings and daily wellness check-ins of all employees upon arrival and before reporting to work. After completing the daily wellness check-in the associates/managers will be cleared for work or will be directed to go home.

 

SAFETY GUIDELINES

  • Per local guidelines, guests are required to wear a mask when entering our restaurant and when walking inside. You do not need to wear your mask when you seated at your table.

  • Some Guests fall under the "ADA Exception" rule whereby they are not required to wear masks, however Silver is attempting to follow the for the health and safety of all Guests and Associates. To that end, masks will be required for entrance into any of our restaurants in jurisdictions that require masks. We've made accommodations for anyone who is unable to, or chooses to not wear a mask, to dine outside on our patio (weather-permitting) or with our delivery or Curbside pickup through EatAtSilver.com

  • Silver follows local health and safety guidelines. At this time, there are no restrictions on party size or social distancing. If that should change we will post the guidelines on our entrances.

  • As of 1/15/22, DC requires all guests who dine inside to show proof of the first dost of vaccination for guests 12 years or old. This only applies to our Cathedral Heights location.

 ONLINE ORDERING + TO GO SERVICES


 
  • Silver offers carryout, curbside pickup and delivery. Please note, delivery is only available through EatAtSilver.com.

  • You can order To Go by calling your local Silver restaurant. For faster service and more amenities (i.e., delivery), we recommend ordering online at EatAtSilver.com.

  • To Go carryout and curbside pickup are available from open until close. Delivery is available 45 minutes after opening and 45 minutes before closing.

  • You can pay cash for phone in carryout and curbside pick-up orders. We do not accept cash for online orders.

ORDERING PROCESS


 
  • When the order arrives at the restaurant, it arrives as a closed check so we are not able to make changes.

    If the change is simple with no-additional-charges, we would be happy handle it.

    If the change requires an additional charge we will need to ring it on a new separate ticket.

    If you want to remove an item, we recommend calling the location to modify your order.

  • Removing an ingredient or substituting a similar ingredient that doesn’t have an upcharge. For example, removing tomato from a burger or substituting gouda cheese for cheddar cheese is a simple change that requires no-additional charge. If you want to substitute salad or add cheese, there is an upcharge and we will need to ring it on a separate new ticket.

  • Substitutions or removal of the natural choices of a menu item are allowed. We automatically listed a range of natural substitutions for each menu item. For example the Smoky Gouda Burger will ask which of the ingredients you want to remove and which side you would you would like to have. If your substitution is not listed, we recommend calling the location to modify your order.

PAYMENT


 
  • No. All online orders need to be pre-paid using a credit card or Silver gift card. If you would like to pay at the store, please call the location to place your order for carryout or curbside. 

  • No. We only accept credit cards or Silver gift cards to pay for an online order.

  • Yes. You can pay for your To Go order, both in person and online, using a Silver gift card.

  • Yes. You can add a tip to all carryout orders, phone in and online.

  • No. We prefer you to pay by credit card or gift card on EatAtSilver.com. If you placed a phone in order you can pay by credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay using our Text 2 Pay service. 

  • No. Deliveries are only available via online ordering. and online orders must be paid in advance with a valid credit card or Silver gift card.

CURBSIDE PICKUP


 
  • Curbside pickup is a service where we bring the order to your car. For quicker service and no contact payments, we recommend selecting curbside pickup when you place an order at EatAtSilver.com.

  • We prefer not to handle cash for curbside pickup for the safety of our staff and guests. If you would like to pay by cash, please come inside to pickup your order.

DELIVERY


 
  • No. To request delivery you need to place an order online at EatAtSilver.com.

  • Silver uses third party delivery services for all deliveries.

  • The delivery area is determine by the third party service and may vary by vendor and traffic. Typically the delivery area is a 3 to 5- mile radius.

  • The third party delivery companies charge a small fee for deliveries which we pass along to our guests. We do not charge any service fees.

  • Delivery is available from EatAtSilver.com from 45 minutes after opening and 45 minutes before closing.

  • All food menu items are available for delivery. However our Weeknight Gatherings and any alcohol are only available for carryout and curbside pick-up.

ISSUES + REFUNDS


 
  •  If you are placing an ASAP order you will not be able to cancel the order, since the order immediately goes to our kitchen.  However, you can cancel a future order from your Silver Account.

  • We apologize for the inconvenience. To assist you with resolving this issue please contact Guest Relations at 1-866-561-0518 or email them using the form under contact us.  Please contact Guest Relations within 72 hours (3 days) of the issue.

  • Please contact the store immediately to try to cancel the order before it is made. If you contact the location after the food has been made, we will be unable to cancel or refund the order since the order has been fulfilled. You can either continue with your order or contact Guest Relations at 1-866-561-0518 or via the form on the contact us page, to resolve the issue.

  • Due to the nature of carryout food, we cannot guarantee the temperature of our food once it leaves the restaurant. We will not refund an order for incorrect temperature. If you have any questions please contact Guest Relations at 1-866-561-0518 or email tthem using the form on the contact us page.

  • We encourage you to immediately contact the location you ordered from or Guest Relations to resolve the issue. Due to the nature of carryout, we are unable to resolve issues older than 72 hours/three days.

Silver Diner Development, LLC. (Silver) is committed to safeguarding your privacy; we take your privacy seriously. We will not sell, rent or otherwise distribute your personally identifiable information, which we receive through our website or from any other source, to third parties except as explained below.   • Silver may collect information about you, such as your name, postal address, email address, zip code, phone number and dining preferences through any of the following: online email address submissions, in‐restaurant and on‐line surveys, promotions, online gift card and merchandise purchases, or other voluntary activities.

  • You can visit our Web site without identifying yourself or giving us any personal information. If you give us your email address, enroll in our eClub or any other special program, club or promotion, purchase gift cards or merchandise online, or voluntarily complete a survey, you will no longer be anonymous to Silver. We may ask you for additional information from time to time, which you may decide to provide to us or not. If you contact Silver through the web site or otherwise, we may keep a record of that correspondence.

  • Our primary goal in collecting information is to improve customer service, communicate Silver promotions and services, and provide you with the best possible experience. We may use your information to notify you of special offers and services available from Silver, and its affiliated companies.

    On a blinded, aggregated basis, we may do research on our customers' and web site users' demographics and behavior based on the information you, other guests and users provide to us. Personally identifiable information would not be used for this type of research. We may disclose such blinded and aggregated data and user statistics to third parties and for other lawful purposes.

  • We will not sell, rent or otherwise distribute your personally identifiable information to third parties, except when we have your permission or under the following circumstances:

    As required by law: We may disclose or access your information when we believe in good faith that the law requires it.

    Gift cards and Silver Merchandise: We use a third party service provider to facilitate the gift card and merchandise service. That third party is required to maintain the confidentiality of your gift card and merchandise information and may only use your information for the purposes of fulfilling and tracking your order, customer service and reporting to us.

    To provide service: We may share aggregated, non‐identifiable information as well as personally identifiable information with our affiliated companies and service providers, such as those who provide gift card service, delivery services or email marketing. All such service providers are under contract with Silver to help provide specific services. If you do not want your information to be shared, you can choose not to provide the information.

    Other: We may disclose user information in special cases when we have reason to believe that disclosing such information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be violating Silver Diner web Site Terms of Use, or may otherwise be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) Silver rights or property, other Silver web site users or customers, or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities. We may also need to disclose user information to service providers when necessary to maintain, service or improve our Web site, products and services.

  • You may contact Guest Relations to view, edit or delete your personal information from our database and we will use commercially reasonable efforts to accommodate your request.

  • Keeping your personal financial information private is critical to us. You may provide such information to us when you purchase delivery services, gift cards or merchandise online. We do not store credit card numbers or bank account numbers. This information will be kept secure and we will transfer your credit card number, bank account number or other personal information only to the third party gift card service or merchandise provider, which is bound to keep your information confidential, and to the appropriate credit card company or bank only in order to process any online payments.

  • It is our policy to closely protect your personally identifiable information. Though no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, Silver employs industry standard security techniques that are designed to protect the privacy of any information you share with us.

  • As part of offering a better personalized service, we sometimes use cookies to store and collect more information. A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a Web server and stored on your computer's hard drive. We may use cookies allow faster and easier access to your information and to monitor traffic on the site and measure traffic patterns to improve functionality.

  • If you no longer wish to receive ongoing marketing communications from us, you can unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of your email. You may also contact Guest Relations.

  • Please keep in mind that whenever you voluntarily disclose information online, that information may be accessible to other online users. Ultimately, you are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your passwords and/or any other personal information.

  • Silver does not intend to collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent. If we learn that such a child has provided us with personally identifiable information, we will immediately delete it. If you learn that such a child has provided us with personally identifiable information, the parent or guardian should contact us as described above and we will immediately delete it.
