SPIKED APPLE CIDER
This Winter cocktail is made with spiced apple cider and bourbon. It can be served hot or cold but regardless it will warm you up. You can sweeten with our house made cinnamon syrup.
SPIKED APPLE CIDER
INGREDIENTS
2 oz Apple Cider
(4 oz if you would like it hot)1.5 oz Jim Beam
.5 oz Apricot Brandy
.75 oz Cinnamon Syrup*
Cinnamon stick as garnish
Rocks glass
INSTRUCTIONS
Add all ingredients to shaker tin with ice.
Shake well and pour into rocks glass.
Garnish with cinnamon stick.
Note: If requested hot use 4 oz of cider, build cocktail in espresso steaming tin and use latte steaming wand to heat up. Rim glass mug with cinnamon sugar and pour cocktail. Garnish with lemon wheel.
*CINNAMON SYRUP
INGREDIENTS
1 cinnamon stick
8 oz water
1 cup cane sugar
INSTRUCTIONS
Place the cinnamon stick in a pot and break up the stick by lightly hammering it with the bottom of your shaker tin. The goal is to break the stick, not to crush it.
Add water, sugar and bring to a boil.
Lower the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir until sugar is completely dissolved.
Sit for 20 minutes then strain using a fine mesh.
Label, date and place in refrigerator (shelf life 6 weeks).
